Does anyone have a CL symbol for the "txt.shp" or "simplex.shp" file? If not, what would be the best way for me to create one? I know the shp file has to be compiled in order to use it, I can do this, but I'm not sure how to come up with the numbers for the shp file.

I added this in my romans.shp

    *02303,65,kcl
    2,14,3,2,14,8,(-21,-42),14,4,2,14,5,8,(18,16),1,025,026,027,048,029,02A,02B,

    8,(-1,-3),05C,8,(1,-3),02D,02E,02F,040,021,022,023,2,078,054,1,8,(0,-21),8,

    (10,0),2,8,(0,11),14,6,14,3,2,14,8,(21,-18),14,4,2,0

then to write the text, just type \U+2303

You copy-paste those 4 lines in the shp file, and there are syntax error
    ???...if you put them
at the end of the file, just one carriage return at the end is enough...

OK, I fixed it. It's not a CL symbol though, it is (æ). Don't understand it...

Good point... Though we don't always send our drawings to our clients in electronic format, it is growing more and more common.

I will bring this to my supervisor's attention and thanks for the insight.

maybe you have an other 2303 symbol defined in your shp file because it
    IS the CL
    symbol

....or you can use lower case q with the GDT font file

  9. I didn't say any of fonts had it. I was just mentioning the correct position
    if
you are going to create the character.
