Cell Library Sites

Discussion in 'Microstation' started by Alastair Budge-Reid, Feb 14, 2004.

  1. I am just starting with Microstation 95. I am looking for cell
libraries available free for download on the 'net. Are there any out
there or do I have to roll my own?

    Regards,
    Alastair.

Too bad you're not using v8 or 8.1 you could use
Autocad symbols, of which there are a lot on the web,
    and elsewhere.

You can also reycle Autocad blocks but in V95 you'll have to convert the
autocad dwgs to R12 dwgs.. or DXF
but there are freeby acad like tools like intellicad which you can use to
convert the acad to lower versions and then in ustn import them and make
    cells..
But what kind of cells do you want?
I always found most peoples cells were too specific for my own use..
Go to Bentley's FTP site there were some good old cells there in V95 format
    once upon a time.
