Catalog / Category / Palette structures.

    I am looking for information on the structure / implementation of Catalogs, Catagorys and Palettes. ie, how they relate to each other, customizing, where settings are stored, xml use, etc. The AutoCAD help does not seem to contain much beyond the basics. Can anybody point me to a helpful resource?
