can't get text to plot or print

    Hi there
    I have been give an autocad file which i need to amend ie add irrigation etc
    However when i go to plot the new drawings I cant get the text to plot.
    Can anyone make any suggestions of what i am doing wrong

    The text may have mistakenly been placed on a "no plot" layer, or maybe the
    "defpoints" layer.

    ihave worked out what it was some ofthe layers were frozen
