This problem just poped up. After working fine for 3 months. We have a
workstation that cannot connect to the License Server. Other Machines in the
office are able to get to the License server. The machine is able to resolve
the host name of the server and ping the IP Address of the server. The
LICPATH.LIC file is pointed to the correct server and has the correct MAC
address. I have even reloaded Land Desktop 3 from scratch and still am
unable to connect to the license server. I am running LDT3 on a Windows 2000
machine with SP4. Any suggestions or help be helpful!!!

    Thanks,

    Jimmy,

That points to the Land Desktop Directory.I still can't connect.

    Anything else?

    Thanks,

    Mike

  4. Try to delete (rename) the licpath.lic file and set ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE to
@servername where servername should be substituted with the name of the
    license server.

Check for and remove any spyware. Also remove internet agents that run as a service. We get this issue randomly at our office. Once someone installed something called "Shop At Home Agent" and another time a internet toolbar installed itself to a machine and hosed AutoCAD.

Programs we haven't had a problem with include MSN Messenger and the Google Toolbar.
