Can you set "line weight translation" setting to a Function key?

    I would like to have a function key that will set the "line weight
    translation" of 2:1 (weight 2 to actually look as think as weight 1).
    That option is found under user preference -->Line weight. How
    would you do that. Is there a key-in command for that? Thanks
