Can Xrefs reload automatically?

    I have Acad 2004. Auto reloading of xrefs would save me time, but can't
    find a command or sys variable. Thanks

    When you make a change to the xref and then go to the drawing and the
    dialogue box appears in bottom right corner saying that the xref has
    been changed and needs reloading. Can this be automated to reload?

    It's not a system variable that you can simply set.
    Quite a few users have felt the same need, and have written LISP or VBA
    code to do it. You need to write a routine, or "borrow" one from someone
    else.
