Can older versions check out new licenses?

    Hello,

    I'm working on upgrading our enterprise to 2004 versions, but have not finished the deployment plan yet. There is a need to add another Map 6 license to our pool, but the license generator only gives me a license for Map 2004. If I upgrade the license manager and install the 2004 license file, can existing Map 6 users check out Map 2004 licenses?
