The plotter driver for a Calcomp Techjet 5336 insists on plotting to a file instead of to a plotter across a network even if the plot to file box is unchecked.

It worked fine in Autocad 2004 and i can plot to every other device across the network.Could it be the driver itself.

    Any ideas.

  2. I have the same problem.
I just acquired new P4~3GHz PC's with 1GB running WinXP pro and just
deployed AutoCAD 2005. For plotting purposes I have a Techjet 5636 connected
to a Novell print queue and my driver also insists to plot to a file even if
the box is unchecked. I never had this problem before with all previous
    versions of the HDI driver.

For now, the only solution I found was to plot through a Windows system
driver. And since Calcomp's drivers are sometimes unreliable I decided to
plot through an HP driver "HP DesignJet 650C (C2859B)". I just had to
remember to create a new Plot Style Table because the windows system printer
plots the lines thicker than the HDI driver.

Is there anyone who has a solution for this problem?? Below, I pasted my
    Plot & publish report.

    Thanks
