CADENCE IC and linux kernel 2.6

    Hello,
    i want to ask if there are some problems running cadence ic on linux 2.6
    series kernel (it is not supported as far I know). I have experienced
    some problems with saving the states in the analog environment (the
    overwritten simulation state doesn't get updated, but erased instead)
    This forces me to use the 2.4 kernel, I expect some better performance
    with kernel 2.6
