    Hi All,

    I tried to use calculator to get a average power of a transistor by
    the following equation
    average(IT("/R0/PLUS")* IT("/R0/PLUS"))*100 ----the resistor is
    100 ohm
    but the calculator either gives me nan ( which I don't know what it
    means) or fail to calculate.

    I updated my cadence recently and the same expression ran well when
    using the previous cadence version.

    please help.

    Best Regards,

  2. Linfei,

    Did you verify that there were transient results available, and that
    the terminal name is valid? Have you tried to enter the expression via
    the calculator GUI in your new version, rather than simply typing/
    pasting in the same text string?

    Best,
