CAD LISP routines

I am working with Survcad with auto cad map 2004. In my previous job,
we were working with auto cad 2004 LDDi, and we had a lisp routine that
    would do the following:
Using the command "plt" a dialog box would open up. In that dialog box
there would be a list of layout tabs on one side and a list of layer
states on the other side. You would then be able to assign a layer
state to each on of the tabs. If you changed the layer state, you
would then need to re-assign it to the appropriate tab. Then you were
able to select the layout tabs that you wanted to print, and it would
then send them to a selected file location on the work server in .plt
format. The file selection location area was at the bottom of the
dialog box. Then, with .plt files on the server, we would then open up
another program that would send the selected .plt files to the printer
    server.

So my question is, does anyone know of any routines or programs that
can do this for me? I have looked darn near everywhere and haven't
found anything that will send .plt files to a file or a plot program
that will send the .plt files to a printer server.

    Thanks for your time!
