Bypass for the english or metric drawing dialog box

Hi,

When we make a new drawing, is there a way to by pass, using lisp, the first dialog box where we select the unit system, english or metric ?

I would say "yes", you would say "how?", I would say "What are you using"
you would say "2004, ADT, etc." I would say "customize autocad".

In the end the solution would consist of a utility or a custom dialog to do
what ever you need, then perhaps you would conclude "I don't know how to
program."

Then I would ask "What exactly are you trying to accomplish?"

The point is that we have a program activated at the startup of each new drawing to let the user choose a projet number in a list, then, the program will set everything for a particular project, including the system unit.

So, now, it's kind of weird because the user has to choose
the unit with the autocad dialog box and just after our system will set the unit according to the specs despite the user's choice.

Finally, the dialog box is completely useless !

This is set under "Options/System/GeneralOption/StartUp:"
It is stored in the registry. In USA R2002 it is found here:
"HKCU/Software/Autodesk/Autocad/R15.0/Acad-138:409/Fixed
Profile/General/StartUpType"

On the Options dialog go to the System tab,on the Startup pulldown under
General Options select "Do not show a startup dialog".
