Button Customizations

    This shouldn't be too hard. I want to be able to customize the extrude button to be set at a certain distance (and not on path) So I could just create a menu where the buttons would be extrude 3 inches, extrude 6 inches...etc.

    The trouble spot I have is that that particular command gets 'hung up' when asking me to select objects.

    Try this (command "extrude" pause "" "3" "")

    I tried that exactly (and several variables) but I guess I am a bit confused. If I copy and paste that into the button properties, the command gets hung up on the " parentheses...I tried pasting that into the command line and I had no-luck either...what am I doing wrong?

    I don't know whats wrong.
    It works on my 2005 machine
    as both a button and on the command line.
