Borrowing in Acad2005

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by BerkHolz, Steven, Oct 25, 2004.

  1. We upgraded from 200i to 2005.

I tried borrowing a license for user that was going out of town for a week.
It said it was successful but ACAD would not run offline.

I loaded FlexLM on the client and tried again. It worked, (so far, so good)
but said that the license expired today.

No matter what date I picked, the borrowing confirmation stated today's
    date.

What is the trick to allow borrowing for 1 week or month, etc.?

  2. Steven,

If you want to change how long the license is borrowed for you must first
return it or wait for it to expire. Then reborrow with the new return date.

Make sure the system date on the client is the same as on the server (and
    same time zone).
