I'm looking for a few good books and learning AutoLISP. It would be nice if
they defined all of the different functions and also gave examples......

If you're just looking for a definition and example, try developer help in the help pull-down. There 's a function list there.

    Caddog -

The discussion group search engine provides flexibility for
searching through existing message content. To search:

    1. Go to http://discussion.autodesk.com/

    2. Select a product (Example: AutoCAD which includes
Customization. Note: You can further refine your query by
selecting a specific discussion group from the dropdown provided.
Your group choices will vary in the drop down, based on where you
have navigated on the discussion group site.

    3. I went to Customization and typed in the keyword "books" into
the search box and clicked Search. Got back 118 results on Lisp
    books.

Search results are sorted by relevance (a complex query of all
relevant content based on your keywords and group choices).
Clicking on the message result will display the entire thread
(the series of messages and replies). Clicking on the Post date
will sort the results by date with most recent first.

    Thanks Anne,
I'll have to give that a go. I was hoping that someone here would give
me the latest and greatest book about lisp.

thanks again you're doing a great job.

  6. Hi,

Which do you want? The latest or the greatest? They are not necessarily
    (and probably aren't) the same.
