Blocks won't print

I am doing a layout of a kitchen for renovation. The check plots do not show
the appliance blocks ( i.e. stove, sink, refridge, etc.) imported from
Autodesk Symbols 2000. All walls print perfectly. A small custom cabinet I
    drew also plots.
I am using AutoCAD 2000, on an Acer PC with 1/2 gig of memory, an Intel
Pentium 1.3. The printer is an HP psc 2175.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I checked all layers and made sure that layer Zero is turned on and will
plot. All other layers are "on". Still no plot of blocks.

Were the blocks created on a layer other than 0? and is that block off or frozen or non print?
