    You're kidding, right?

Anyone who would do anything to put their familys food and a hefty mortgage
payment at risk by posting on a "stinkin' Usenet newsgroup" has got to be
far more contemptible! Employers have a right to request that their
employees act in a professional manner. Just because your employer didn't
care doesn't mean that some wouldn't like to know how their companys name is
    being tarnished.

But funniest of all is that you're the one who pointed out which company!!
Look up hypocrite in the dictionary some time.

Guess I need to get over myself too.

    You're kidding, right?

What? You some kind of moron? The individual sells used cars for a living. At
least he / she doesn't try to hide it like most of them.

  5. Impressive Googling to find an old employer! Brings back some memories...!

I've never tried to hide who I am, what I do, etc. I do wonder myself why I
occasionally bother to express opinions on this NG, though, particularly
among the hide-behind-my-fake-name crowd that is able to impress themselves
by taking anonymous potshots. But thanks for figuring out that I'm entitled
to an opinion, even one that differs from yours.

Who just got a taste of their own .....
Anytime. But so is everyone else.
You dont learn if all have the same opine,
    right or wrong.
Being critical of such (having an opine) or implying threats
related to employment is in poor taste, IMHO.
If you want to be critical speak up. That's entirely
fair. Being critical *because* someone else posted
    something is hardly so.
    *Honest* argument is *good*.

I'd WANT a VAR that would argue .. when they
thought that they were right or something was being
    missed <G>.

On top of all of that this is Usenet .... for *people*
to use, not just for firms to advertise on (which *may* be
frowned on anyway, depending on the NG & it's charter).

And they care about the product & concepts, right? Enough
to post in the first place? On their*own time* I also assume
(there are a few shills from time to time though).

One of the reasons I post anonymously is to make it difficult for rotten
scumbags like Matt Lombard to take "potshots" at me by meddling in my
    personal affairs.

I figured some simpleton would come along and say something like this.
So, tell us (tinu), were you born that stupid, or did your mama make you
    take lessons later in life?

  10. Mr. Dragon sir,
Your well thought-out, organized, and detailed point-by-point response to my
above accusation of hypocricy, combined with Cliffs keen grasp of basic
search engine use, have forced me to to realize the error in my ways. It
has made it obvous that I have obviously been unreasonable; that you have
clearly been right the whole time. I apologize and hope we can all get on
with our lives. Have a fabulous 2006, and hopefully many more beyond.

That clue stick of yours must be getting pretty worn.

I probably shouldn't post any links to information on how to build bombs
that are capable of leveling entire city blocks for fear of Kevin actually
building one and using it, eh?

There's some real neato stuff in archives of the real BBS's from
    pre-Internet days. <g>

Time to look at the bright side, BD. It's not all bad with Matt
Lombard. When Matt Lombard posts on machining / CAM systems no one else
comes close to being as humorous. ;>)

It's too bad Matt has such an ego problem but hey he's not alone when
    it comes to engineers.

Where's that article that jk posted about machine shops / machinists
doing more and more design work ? LOL... that one went over like a lead
balloon here. Too bad but then it's hard to expect much from many
    SaladWorks / Preventor product loyalists.

So... on to the important stuff :

Do you think I should start selling Insane CADCAM Jihad ! "t" shirts ?

Being able to drive cad software and being able to design are not
synonymous. Not by a long shot. Unfortunately these days a lot of cad
operators think they're designers and it is us tool makers who are
left to clean up their messes.
Where can I purchase one? :)
