To throw a little levity in, Harvey !!!! Doritos? You are a much
better cook than that. Go bake a cake!

The thing is, Anne, that I'm clearly outclassed here now. Both the questioners and
answerers are using words I don't know anything about anymore. I sit with AS V7
which has been good enough for my circumscribed purposes. (Actually V6 is good
enough. Me and Len, the ossified ones.)

So I'm reduced to platitudinous (some duck-billed, too) explications for the
ultra-newbie, or the odd silly response offering nuttin substantial to noone,
excepting the occassional tweak to the Ozmainiacs once in a while.

    sigh

Anyone have the information on the program Joe is talking about for raster
    to vector?
Still looking for something reliable and not requiring days of clean-up...

    Thanks

enlighteded posts on this chat board I decided I needed to get the data into
    a Autocad Native Format.
the capability to convert the bit map images into DXF darwings. Thus I was
able to the use raster to vector software to make native DXF and DWG files
and use them. This has worked well. Anyone interested in the drawing
details for their own use I can email them....

I seem to recall a program around called Scan2Cad that does that sort of
    thing.
