What is the best & most efficent way to change a rectangle from 19' x 10' to
    22' x 10' that is on a 19 degree angle.

    Thanks

  2. I would set a new ucs at one corner of the rectangle, using the 3 point
option and then stretch the rectangle to the desired size. I then would
    return to the World ucs.

I would draw a circle with the base point on the corner of the rectangle,
make it 19' and stretch the adjacent side of the rectangle from the corner
to the intersection point between the rectangle and circle, then do the same
    for the other measurement.

    anyone else?

Scrap that! I would draw the rectangle then move and reference rotate it
    into position, much easier

So here K Murray is once more, in the playground of the broken hearts ...
I found a LISP-routine on the web a few years ago, called "RCH" (Rotate
Cross Hair), which allows you to rotate the cross-hair by typing the angle
or clicking a reference line, and then stretch the rectangle with ortho on.
    Very useful !

I searched the web for it, and it seems that www.spaug.org has it available
    for download. Good luck, HTH,

Set your snapang to 19° (get it exact by picking two points along the
19' side) - then stretch the rectangle 3' with ortho turned on.

    stretch return
    select using crossing
type in nea to activate nearest osnap
pick start point on base of rectangle
type in nea to activate nearest osnap again
pick emd point on base of rectangle

osnaps are used less than they should be in my opinion

Unless of course, when he said 19°, his precision was set to 0 and it
    was really 18.98067423° :-o

I guess I was thinking too much. In the civil world, things are rarely
    even lengths or angles.
