Batch printing multiple sets in 2005

    Hello-

We acquired a KIP 6000 this last Spring and have an issue regarding
Publishing multiple large sets. For example, when I have a drawing set with
50 drawings and need 5 copies, AutoCAD 2005 (ADT 2005) will Publish the
first set to a cache and then will send 5 copies of those cashed files to
the printer. In essence it will send 250 individual sheets to the printer
in a few seconds. I've noticed that the KIP will "pull" in large groups of
these plot files at a time from the Windows 2000 server print queue. The
first group goes in order but when it pulls the subsequent groups, the KIP
appears to place them sporadically within the existing group of files
already sitting on the KIP hard drive. This can be seen by watching the
queue using Unattend. Thus the prints will come out in no logical order.
We've tried setting the different wait times in the onboard INI files with
some marginal results. We've been able to get our large sets out in order
but it will take FOREVER to get them. Literally once the queue is loaded up
it will only print out 2 or 3 sheets per minute because Unattend constantly
is re-building the job list. For a printer that is rated at 7 D's per
minute, this is unacceptable. We've been in contact with Tony at KIP
America in the past but this is still a relevant issue for us and one we
    feel is extremely important.

    Thank you.

Did KIP ever resolve this issue?
I just searched the forum and found nothing.
