Batch plots not centered

I'm having trouble with batch plotting in 2004 to an XES 8830 -- the plots
come out off-center and cut off, even though the page setup is for plotting
extents, and the "center plot" box is checked. It's also ignoring the "scale
lineweights" setting. The page setup being used is pulled from a blank
drawing containing all our plot settings; it's not necessarily in the all
the drawings being plotted. Printing straight from the drawing works fine.
Has anyone seen this before, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Thanks,
    Kate

I don't think the Batch Plot is smart enough to recognize the "Center" for
each drawing. Even though you're telling it to center the plot the program
is bringing the absolute values from the selected setup.

e.g. You create a setup using a B size border centered on C size paper. Note
the X and Y offsets. If you batch plot C size drawings using that setup,
Batch Plot will apply said X and Y offsets causing the C size border to plot
off-center. I finally resorted to observing what the dialog box displayed in
the X and Y offset fields while the "Center the plot" box was checked. When
creating page setups I clear the "Center the plot" box and type in the
previously-observed offset values and save them explicitly in the page
    setup.
