Batch plot memory error

I have a user using R2002 on a PC with 380MB of RAM. He is trying to use the batch plot utility, but when he tries to add a drawing to the list he gets the following error message "The common dialog function failed during initialization. This error often occurs when insufficient memory is available". He had not used the utility before, so it could have been like this on his PC the whole time. He tried on another PC with 512MB and got the same result. However on 2 other PC's with only 128MB of RAM the utility worked fine. I am planning on looking at his virtual memory settings, but other than that I don't see a fix for this posted already. Any ideas?
