I have to add a new custom property to a large number of part files:

Property Name Type Value / Text Expression
    Mass text ""

Where 2206-701194-000.SLDPRT is the file name of the file currently
    being operated on.

I thought that SolidWorks Task Scheduler would do this but I can't find
the method that will do this.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Mark

You can try SWie, download it from www.markkulehtola.net -> SolidWorks.
It's an Excel-sheet that can add/modify attributes for parts and assys,
so you can modify it yourself if needed

As far as I know it does not matter what the filename is in the string
mentioned above. You could use eg. for each part - if it
    makes it any easier.
