Balloon to reference file name

  1. Is there a way to make this work now?

    Any info. would be appreciated.

    For me that syntax doesn't work.
    The one below works fine though:

    $PRP:"SW-File Name"

    Also, if you right-click your note, choose Properties and click 'Link
    to Property', in the dropdown-box you see some other properties you
    can link to.

    Is there a way to put this in the template so that it does not have to be
    entered each time.

    I have not tested this but couldn't you store that as an annotation favorite
    & then drag & drop it from the Design library when needed? I am speaking as
    in 2005. In 2004 you might just use a copy & paste method. Create one &
    the copy it to other faces (no need to reenter it over & over). Lets us all
    know if that works

  5. You can enter the "formula" when you get into the balloon command and all of
    the balloons that get placed, while still in the command, will use the
    "formula".

    Almost automatic :)
