Balloon edit causes a crash (SW2004 drawings)

    Hi!

    Well, the problem is this:

I'm editing old SW drawings (most of them where designed with SW2003,
anyway those files are converted to 2004 using the Conversion Wizard).
The work should be simple: just remove one part from the assembly and
update the drawing. 3d-models are ok: every part is found and present.

BUT: In drawings several part balloons are dangling. Its ok to
re-connect, rebuild and save as far as those balloons are single type,
but when editing stacked ones.... PUFFF and CRASH! The hole program
    disappears, no errors no nothing...

Instead of re-connecting old stacked balloons (-->Crash), I've also
tried to delete them, and put in new ones, and guess what: Crash!.

    What to do?

SW2004, SP2.1 (ok, SP is old...)
    PDMWorks
    Win XP SP1
    NVIDIA Quadro FX 1000
Dell Precision 650, Xeon 3,06 GHz
    2Gb RAM

    Juha,

Sounds like a bug that was probably fixed in a subsequent SP. If you don't
want to apply service packs, you just have to learn to live with these
    things.

Of course if you do want to apply service packs, chances are you are going
to have to live with other things that will pop up in it place.
