Autodimension greyed out in v 2007

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by kareninventress, Feb 27, 2007.

  1. Will someone please tell me why I never get the option to use
Autodimension in Solidworks v 2007? It is constantly greyed out. I
used it extensively in v 2006. I do not see any toggles for it in
    Document Properties.

The Autodimension function now works only in drawings. In models, you
need to use the new Fully Define Sketch tool. Fully Define Sketch has
rolled together several functions including the old Autodimension, Scan
Equal, Add Relations. The Fully Define Sketch button looks like the
Sketch button except that the line is black instead of blue.

It's not a very well publicized change.
