Autodesk should provide more on-line tutorials and other resources.

    Hi,
How long do you leave old posts up?

At this time old posts are not removed but reamin on the server
indefinately. The exception is files which are good for 90 days
from the last time they were accessed.

Are you looking for something specific?

    Hello Anne Brown,

Thanks for your response-I wasn't expecting one!

I am one of your older users - still using AutoSketch 2, which does a good job for me in my retirement. I have used AutoSketch since version 1, and learned to love it ever since one of your technicians told me to "think in inches."

Now I am only having problems moving AS@ from one operating system to the next. This became easier once I realized that AS2 is really still a DOS program and could be copied from on OS to another, but could not be installed in the newer OS.

So, right now, my problem is a simple one that I posted on June 4, 2004:

"I am running AutoSketch Release 2.0 for Windows under Windows XP. But when I startup AutoSketch, I see four toolbars! Three of them I have created; the fourth is the AutoSketch Draw Menu, which I do not want as a toolbar.
How can I prevent it from appearing each time I start AutoSketch?"

If you could find an answer to my question I would really appreciate it.

Also, It would be nice if you could somehow arrange for an experienced technician to look over the posts on the older versions and answer as many as possible - just for old-times sake. It might be a little expensive, but it would be greatly endearing for us oldsters.

    Thanks again for your reply,

    Best regards,

    Richard Petersen

    Hi Richard -

I'll pass on your request on the older messages but no promises.
