Anne has suggested that I post this question after placing it in the
    print-plot ng.

I have made a lisp (for 2005) that batch plots more or less as in 2004
    (except that it
is done through a dialog box) The reason why I have made this lisp is so
that we don't have to go through the tedious process of choosing page setups
in PUBLISH, when not printing to the default printer. We generally print to
2 different printers. The default printer works fine, however batch plotting
to the other printer doesn't always work. What happens, for some unexplained
reason drawings rotate so that a tab becomes portrait instead of landscape
and vice versa. Why is this? I can not see how come batch plotting affects
    the page setup.
Perhaps an Autodesk programmer could please tell me why this happens?

    Thanks for an answer
    Russ

Wayyyy out of line here, but a glimmer of memory requires me to speak. I recall
that we once had an HP DesignJet plotter which required adjustment of Portrait
vs Landscape due to the way the paper was inserted into the carriage. Perhaps
whatever printer your batchscript wrote for has an oddball definition of P/L?

Mostly just writing to say hello, since it's been 2 or 3 years.

ps - it would be interesting to see your code.
