Now you can get it for 50% off: $1,995. I know Inventor is not quite up to
par yet, but for that price, getting AutoCAD, MDT and Invetor, it's a deal
    that can't be beat!

  2. The $1995 is an upgrade price (depends on what you own now).

Yup. I didn't see that on www.avat.com, until I clicked on Offer Details.
Also noted is that you have to buy a year of subscription service as well
which will give you 2 years total. Still not that bad of a deal.

    Richard,

Thank you for pointing this out. This is basically the best deal you
can get if you already own something like AutoCAD or MDT and are
looking to upgrade. Plus, you MUST commit to 2 years of subscription
service or it's not even available. This isn't for new customers, but
only for those existing customers that are upgrading. Not as much of
a deal as the marketing hype makes it sounds. Be careful and always
    read the fine print gentlemen.

    From their website:

Customers must purchase the 2nd year of subscription with the purchase
order to qualify for the promotional bundle. This entitles you to a
    total of 2 years subscription.

Note: Existing subscription customers are exempt from purchasing a 2
    year subscription.

Autodesk has to rate as one of the worst companies when it comes to customer
relations and service. Way back when we had a seat of mechanical desktop and
a lightening strike took out the hardware lock. We asked if we could buy a
replacement lock they said no you will have to buy a new seat. We said we
will send in the old lock just tell us the minor fee for a replacement lock,
once again the idiots at Autoclueless said we dont care it will still cost
you a new seat. Thats when i made a decision to switch our company to a
better product and better company overall for our CAD. I have been overall
    very happy with SW.

That's ridiculous. Glad I don't do business with them anymore.
