Anybody have a lot of experience with 2006? We are looking at
upgrading our 3.3ADT and have the choice of getting 2006 or waiting for
2007. An earlier posting stated we should wait because '06 had a lot
    of problems. Any advice?

Not familier with ADT, but as for the core AutoCAD functionality, you
are just about in the middle of this release. 2007 should arrive in
March or so, with probably a new DWG format.

On the other hand, it wouldn't be smart to just run with 2007 the day it
comes out either. Any "fixes" that it brings to the table are likely to
be accompanied by new features with their own problems.

I get the feeling a lot of people are skipping every other release to
avoid the 12 mo. deployment/training cycle anyway.

This might sound silly but I've always found odd numbered Acad
versions lacking. I'd advise getting 2006 and a seat subscription ,
skip 2007 and install 2008 when its released.
