I can see lots of postings on this subject but none that quite seem to fit with what I want to do so apologies if this has been covered a million times already... By default AutoCad (or is it Distiller?) appends the file & layout name to the PDF file. I would like it to append just the layout name. I know there are workarounds but they all seem to require more steps and therefore more opportunity for myself and my colleagues to mess up. Any help/sample scripts greatly appreciated.
