Hi, I'm runing AutoCAD 2000i, 2002 & 2004 on Windows2000. I receive the following error message when I use the same IP address for a Windows printer as AutoCAD's HDI printer driver: "You have at least one Windows System Printer configured for IP_10.0.0.59, so the HDI driver cannto open IP_10.0.0.59 directly. The output will be spooled through a System Printer, which usually works fine. The HDI I/O port configuration will not, however, take effect. To allow direct output to IP_10.0.0.59, all System Printers configured to use IP_10.0.0.59 must be reconfigured not to use IP_10.0.0.59. The appearance of this dialog may be controlled in Tools/Options/Plotting." Question: 1. If I use printer servers for both Windows & AutoCAD, the error message goes away. Is there a limitation when it comes to using IP addresses for printing? 2. I tried looking in Tools/Options/Plotting for an option to turn off this notification. But I found none. Is there a way to just disable this message box from ever coming up? Paul
