AutoCad (older version)

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Jeff Cummings, Feb 10, 2004.

  1. I would like to know where I can obtain an older version of AutoCad
that would be compatable with Windows 95.
I purchased a AutoCad LT on eBay, but it lacked the install disk.
Learn from you mistakes I guess. I don't care if it doesn't have all
of the latest bells and whistles, I started with versions 1 & 2, so
I'll be happy with a vintage AutoCad package.

    Thanks, Jeff

  2. You can't legally buy discontinued versions, unless you buy a company among
who's assets are and old license.

    What Michael said....

If you want to stay legal - how about getting a version of IntelliCAD? For the purpose of light duty drafting, it's as close as you can get - at a much lower price.

Release13, 14, and 12 for MS-DOS will all run on Windows 95. Licenses are
    not transferrable for AutoCAD.
