We're using AutoCAD 2004 in our offices. There is one computer that
we are having trouble with the mouse wheel panning (zoom works fine)
while all the others don't seem to have a problem. Is there a setting
for this in AutoCAD? I've already made sure that "mbuttonpan" is set
to "1". Is it a problem in Windows XP? I've checked the control
panel and the correct driver is installed and the scroller wheel is
set to default. The mouse is a Microsoft Intellipoint Optical.
    Thanks.

Make sure screen scroll bars are turned off. Worked for me.

I had to go into my mouse setup and change the setting for the middle
wheel to Generic Microsoft switch or something. It would not work in
the "universal scroll" setup - although it worked fine in inventor
both before and after the fix...
