AutoCAD Mechanical 2000 and Windows XP

    Hello group,

    I want to install AutoCAD Mechanical 2000 on a new Windows XP machine.
    Bij the setup I get the message that this computer has a unknown OS.

    Is there any way to resolve this problem?

    We installed AutoCAD 2000 on XP I don't recall it checking for the OS i
    would say that if you have a choice pick NT because XP would be closest to
    NT then you can specify in XP how to handle the program and tell it to treat
    it like it were NT4.0
