    Hi,

I have been to trying to use tool MAP inside of the common 2D use that
I make of autocad, and I intend to know:

    - the MAP allows to calculate/obtain the intersection of polygons, in
space form, or in numerical form, and if it does how is the procedure?

    - Case the possibility above exists how is it possible to export the
information to an excel table or database?

If anyone can give me a clue to this case i'll be very grateful.

    Thanks in anticipation

    Susana hi,

Autodesk Map can do exactly what you need.

The explanation is very lengthy so I will just give you some highlights and
you will need to learn more from the documentation (Or get instruction).

You need to create two sets of Polygonal Topologies that are made up of your
    polygons.

Then you can overlay one of the topologies on top of the other and get the
    resulting intersecting topology.

from this result topology you can query all the data you need: Areas,
    Coordinates and so forth.

    I hope this helps,
    Arad
