AutoCad Lt 2004 Authorization Question

Many months ago I loaded my AutoCad Lt 2004 on my secondary computer. I
believe I'm following the rules, because both computers are only used by me
and I can only use one at a time (they're at different locations).

For the first couple times (on the secondary machine) I just cancelled the
registration option when I loaded up the program. Then I didn't use that
computer for the longest time. Now, several months later I went to use my
AutoCad on the secondary computer and I got the prompt screen telling me
that I needed to Register or Authorize my program with the Authorization
code. So I dug out my Authorization code and hit the button to continue. The
'Register Today' box pops up and then the whole program simply freezes.
Nothing ever loads in the 'Register Today' box. It simply starts to load up
and then poof....AutoCad hangs!! I have to do the ctrl-alt-delete to exit
    the program. I've re-booted, re-installed, and re-you name
it......nothing!!! It still hangs-up at the same point every time.

Does anyone know why this is happening? What can I do to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Lyle

Contact Autodesk. There's a phone number in your documentation.

  3. Reinstall in and then register before the period expires.

Yeah, I was going to do that in case no one here had a fix.

It doesn't work. I tried that and it comes back to the same option. Once
you've installed it on a machine, AutoCad hides something on the computer
that won't let the 30 day grace period re-occur.

Looks as though I may need to phone AutoDesk (groan!!!!).

Have you tried conning the computer by changing the date?

Thanks for the tip. It worked to get me into AutoCad. However....when I
still try to do the Authorization Code process, it still hangs when the
"Register Today" window starts to load.

I'll try calling Autodesk on Monday morning. Hopefully I can get something
figured out. I'd hate to always have to re-set my date everytime I wanted
    to use that machine.
