    Hi people,
On my university beginners CAD course we often have to draw (on paper) an
object, mark it up with co-ordinates / dimensions, then using only the
keyboard where possible, draw this item using AutoCAD. Im wondering if
anyone has come across any of these dimensioned examples that I could work
through in my spare time, maybe as a downloadable jpeg or pdf file? My
imagination when I have to thinkof my own is limited to TVs, Snooker Tables
    and Cars lol.

    Thanks
    Lee

Do a google image search for "dimensioned drawing" or "angle bracket drawing" etc.

Check out my web site @ http://www.cadalot.co.uk

On the how to draw page you will find a 3 minute test example
The objective is to draw the drawing to the correct dimensions
with corners meeting, lines vertical and horizontal within 3 minutes.

Or you don't get the job.......

You will also find questions and answers on the Notes Page, these can
also be used as drawing examples as they are based on a square grid of
what ever you set (say 10mm squares)

    Hope this helps
