AutoCAD and Background Color

Hallo!

Changing the background color in AutoCAD changes the color of elements with
the new background color. A red line (RGB 255 0 0) on a white or black
background gets RGB 204 0 0 switching the background color to red.

And now my question: is there an algorithm, formula or AutoCAD VBA or arx
function to get this color changes?
