New plotting problem. I usually plot from paper space and that has its
own problems. Now I wanted to plot a simple sketch from model space I
choose my plotter and the paper size, orientation, etc. click apply to
layout do a preview and if it isn't what I want I right click and choose
exit and none of the settings are saved the paper size goes back to
default size of the plotter the plot area goes back to display and fit
to paper is selected? This printer HP1000. My other plotter is an HP500

I spent twenty minutes getting it to work right and the drawing it self
took less time to make! Also the print preview didn't work as expected
either, is it just me or did 2005 take another step backward.

In paper space if I want to change the size of the plot from the size
selected it changes the page layout and ruins future plots until I reset
the page to the original. I plot ANSI D most of the time but I do keep a
book of my prints in 11X17 so I need to print each one at the two sizes
or I have to create a separate layout for each size for this not to
happen? What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for any help, Rich
