    Ah! the continuation....

I guess this would be a question for a select few...or actually anyone
    willing to comment....

    Interesting enough autodesk says

"No events will be fired while a modal dialog is being displayed. "

2005 displays the appropreate dialog when a text, block, etc. is double
    picked.....

I've seen examples that have worked in the past, but with 2005 it
    crashes....

Now I know there has to be a variable that controls everything...but
    where... and what's it's name...

I guess...I do a little hunting...but I'd also like to disable it temp...

I'd like to edit it without editing a menu or changing a variable..?

    Getting closer or giving up....

Thanks for the reply Doug...pretty much what Luis is implied, but....

I don't want to completely turn it off, but temp set it off if a certain
block is selected, run another feature, then turn it back on for other
    objects.

Sounds good Luis, but I'd also like to do the following, see my reply to
    Doug...

Oh, and Thanks for the tip, and saving me time to hunt it down.

I thought you'd end up doing that....I mean rewriting the functionalities of
    identifying all the objects...

I was thinking of doing the same....

    Here's an extra....

    If
    block
autocadeditor, or current windows defined texteditor
    etc.
