Autocad 2004: PMP-Pc3.

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Jon Wåhlström, Aug 12, 2003.

  1. I am sending out a question regarding Autocad 2004 and the new location of
    the pmp-file.
Has anyone encountered problems with the default location of the pmp-file ?
    Why this
question, because we get telefon calls from clients, who when after
    installation of Autocad
2004, doesn,t seem know where the pmp-file is, it,s missing when installing
    the pc3-file,
    any thoughts about this ?

  2. I guess to be XP Compliant they decided they had to place them under the
users section which to me is the absolute worst place. It was bad enough
trying to use then since they are platform and AutoCAD version dependant but
now they want us to have a pc3/pmp file for each user who logs onto the
machine. I would move them to a local directory instead of the users
directory as fast as I can if I were using AutoCAD 2004.
