AutoCad 2004 and XP Pro Network problem

    We have a very simple set up of 3 PC's all now running XP Pro and 1 PC which we use as a 'server' storing all the drawings also running XP Pro.Tthe directory on the server where the drawings are held is 1.2gb. When we open a drawing from the server it takes about 30 seconds to open the drawing on either of the 3 machines. We used to have exactly the same set up using Windows 98 and there was never any time delay......any ideas.
