I recently bought a new Gateway computer with a Windows XP operating system.
Now my AutoCAD R13 is not compatable and windows XP will not let the
software install. Anyone have a fix that will allow my old reliable AutoCAD
R13 to get off and running on my new computer? It was running OK on my old
computer with a windows Me operating system.

R13 for Windows? It should run fine on XP, I have seen it.
    No install was necessary.

You'll have to set the comparability of the program to 95/98 but after that it should install without problems. Find the
install file and right click on it with your mouse. The dialog box should have an entry of comparability which you should
click. It will bring another dialog box where you can set how XP relates to the program.
