Can someone out there give me an alternate email addy to send for an authorization code? Here we are 6 months plus after the 2005 releases, and on-line registration still doesn't work for subscriptions. It says to select "not an upgrade" and not to enter an old serial number for subscriptions, then fails and says that the old serial number is invalid. So you tell the authorization page to send in the file, and it comes back with a message that it couldn't send the file. (Maybe it works if you use Outlook for email? We don't, and I won't.) Next the page gives you the location of a file on your hard drive, saying to attach the file to an email to such-and-such address. Note that I KNOW ahead of time that I'm going to have to do this, but you have to go step-by-step to this point for that file to be created. The first couple times I did this I got back a code, but the return email also said I should send to "" instead. So I've been sending there instead, and you get a FAST response! Unfortunately, the FAST response doesn't have a code, it just says that I'll get a slow response - within 2 business days. Right. I got that on the 19th, and I'm still waiting. So I should try by phone, right? Well, I have done that a couple of times. By the time I get home, where the currently pending authorization iinstalled, they're not open. OK, I'll try from the office and write everything down! Have you ever tried to read off a gazillion alphanumeric codes to someone, then write down the gazillion they give you back, all the while trying to decipher British-English spoken with a heavy sub-continent accent? It only takes one error either way and you've wasted an hour.
