AutCADLT2002 and registry problem

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Heino Möldre, May 6, 2004.

  1. Hello,

If I run the AutoCADLT2002 software as a Domain User on a Microsoft®
    Windows 2000
domain the following error messages are displayed:

On start-up: Failed to update the system
    registry. Please try using REGEDIT.
    DesignCenter: Exception occurred.

There are three methods for resolving this problem:
Add the user to the local Administrator's group
Add the user to the local Power User's group
Add the user to the local Power User's group when a domain is in place

But is yet any possibility to use AutoCADLT2002 if user is not added to
    Administrator or
    Power User group.

    Regards
    Heinz
