Attribute extraction problem- columns do not line up

    I am working in autocad 2002. I am new to attribute extraction. When I
    extract attributes and output them as a .txt file and save it in
    notepad, the tag names and values do not line up correctly in the
    columns. How can I make them line up neatly in columns before I insert
    them in a drawing?
