Attach an custom attribute to an object

    If I add a custom attribute named "Part Name" with a value of "Test" when I
    export it to my CAM program will it export with the file? I want my CAM
    program to loop through each geo and check the for the attribute "Part Name"
    and read it's value, is this possible?

    Are you attaching xdata or a block attribute? What are you using to export to
    your cam program?

    There are several ways of doing it.
