atof........whats going on ?????

    Command: (atof "3.5643254")
    3.56433

    Command: (atof "58798.22861277")
    58798.2


    Any help on this appreciated

    anyone ??

    wondering why the value is being trimmed.

    I "need" 3 decimal places and Its not giving it to me

    Again, any help is appreciated

    Hi, it's internally stored in full precision. It's only displayed in
    this format. Can't give you the place in the documentation, but I read
    it there somewhere.

    "Format" - "Units" - "Precision" set decimal places as required

    or, set it in your dimension dialog box

    whoa .. I had given up on this one ;)

    Thanx guys

    I did some checking of the values and yes it does seem to have "internal"
    precision.
